About
What is The Tech Covenant and why does it exist?
This site is a personal journal of introspection, change, and practice. It is an unfinished record of the attempt to become a good leader, a better person, and a more effective practitioner.
Writing, for me, is a way to keep perspective and compound learning. It’s not a tech, philosophy, or leadership blog, though the essays touch on those subjects. Where I once filled notebooks, they are now simply digital.
The Hypomnemata graph is an idea I had a long time ago. It’s both a bit of fun and a way of keeping my hands in technology, something that inevitably becomes harder to do in leadership. There is a lineage of knowledge that can be traced from early thinkers to modern leadership practices, and over time, I hope to illustrate that connection.
I keep this site anonymous because it isn’t intended to serve my career; these aren’t exactly LinkedIn posts. I just want to write for writing’s sake and to encourage the discipline of both reading and writing; one feeds the other.
